The story
Behind the Short Round
They're short, they're round... they're the Short Round. This stick has a very similar feel and balance to our Moonlight stick, but with a slightly faster taper and a round bead. Great for use on snare drum, drum set, cymbals or accessories and recommended if you're looking for something with a little bit of a faster response and a little more clarity compared to something like 5A.
We consider them sort of a hybrid between a 5A style stick and an SD1 style. Slightly thinner than your average SD1 but with the iconic and simple round bead. This combination also makes the Short Round great as a general concert stick for younger students or those with smaller hands.
