The Ballista Series marimba mallets feature a substantially heavier feel than the Warrior Series, giving players more natural momentum behind their stroke to help produce a deep, powerful tone without forcing the sound out of the instrument.
The Ballista mallets are available with either natural birch or rattan handles, allowing ensembles to choose the feel and response that best fits their approach. Handles are hand sorted and matched for consistent flex and long-term durability. Hybrid weighted ball cores help create a broad, powerful sound with strong fundamentals and excellent presence across the keyboard.
Like the Warrior Series, the Ballista marimba mallets use an ultra-durable synthetic polyester yarn wrap designed to handle moisture, dirt, and sunlight throughout the season, keeping them sounding and looking fresh through demanding rehearsals and long competition days.
