Myles Thomas

Myles Thomas is a percussionist, educator and composer based in Dublin, Virginia. He  received his bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Radford University, where he was able to perform with many ensembles in and outside of the school including, Radford Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, Appalachia Southeastern-Wind Symphony, and Liberty University Indoor Drumline.

As an educator his passions lie in the marching arts, concert and chamber music, and public education. He has worked as an elementary music teacher in Radford, Virginia after graduating in 2022 and now is the current percussion arranger and co-percussion director for Radford High School. Prior experience includes his own private lessons, working with other schools as front ensemble and drumline instructors in South-west Virginia and being the Bass Drum Instructor for Liberty University in 2023.
