Matthew Bratton

Matthew is a freelance percussionist and instructor in Rock Hill, South Carolina where he is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching Music Education at Winthrop University. He teaches lessons and masterclasses at various high schools in North and South Carolina. He hopes to provide better instruction and knowledge of percussion to students whom may have not received otherwise.

​Having earned a Bachelor’s in Music Performance from Lander University in Greenwood, SC, Matt has had experience in playing in various musicals at the local theatre, playing at numerous gigs and has led his own jazz combo group named Invictus. He now continues to learn and gain experience in becoming a more well-rounded musician and educator.
