Joseph O’Kane is a percussionist, music educator, and music therapist in southeastern Pennsylvania. In 2021, Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in music education from Temple University. During his undergraduate studies, Joseph performed with the Temple University Percussion Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and Concert Orchestra.
Joseph is pursuing a Master of Arts in music therapy from Immaculata University. He plans to take the certified board exam (CBMT) summer of 2026 to become a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC). Throughout his music therapy studies, Joseph has utilized percussion instruments to facilitate music therapy sessions, guided meditations, and therapeutic drumming groups. He is excited to use his knowledge of music therapy and percussion to spark growth in people’s lives. Joseph proudly utilizes and endorses Artifact Percussion.
